Mortgage Availability Improving
Fri, 02 Oct 2009
The mortgage market has shown several signs of recovery over the past few months with house prices returning to 2008’s levels, mortgage borrowing on the increase and ever more competitive base rate related lending being introduced.
Recent research from the bank of England will further strengthen the sentiments of recovery, as it shows the availability of mortgages is set to improve in the next few months as wholesale funding becomes more available.
The research shows that the difficulties faced by the wholesale lending market are beginning to lift and banks lending will commensurately increase.
